Washington Virginia Vale is roughly bound by Alameda Avenue, South Cherry Creek Drive, and South Quebec Street.
Virginia Vale offers a lovely enclave of modest ranch homes just south of Denver’s tony Hilltop neighborhood. Here, residents enjoy all the advantages of Hilltop’s central location, at far more affordable prices. Like Hilltop, Virginia Vale is close to the city’s premier Cherry Creek Shopping Center and just a few miles from the heart of downtown. Residents enjoy strolling around Garland Park’s beautiful Lollipop Lake and walking and bicycling along the Cherry Creek trail. One of southeast Denver’s oldest neighborhoods, Virginia Vale includes the popular Four Mile House historic site, which served as the last stagecoach stop between Kansas City and Denver and dates to 1858. There, travelers found a welcoming place to wash off the dust of the road. Today’s residents enjoy far more conveniences, including close proximity to the neighborhood’s many affordable ethnic restaurants, a well-maintained library and a popular swim club.
