Katie grew up in the Hilltop neighborhood in Denver. She attended Graland Country Day and Manual High School. She graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina, where she was captain of her division 1 Lacrosse team. She also spent a semester abroad in Paris, France and attended the American University of Paris. After graduating she moved back to Denver and worked in PR for The Children's Hospital and advertising and marketing for Juice Communications. Once she recognized her strengths and interests in working with individuals to achieve a goal along with her knowledge and expertise of the Denver area, she decided that real estate would be the perfect transition.

She began her real estate career at The Kentwood Company in Cherry Creek and 2 years later was offered an opportunity to work with The Bridge Team at Re/Max of Cherry Creek. Team, Honesty, Loyalty, Hard Work are just a few words that Katie prioritizes in her daily business practices and philosophy. She understands that it takes more than one person to accomplish a goal, and in the complex world of real estate it is imperative to have a broker who cares about working together with you to exceed your expectations and consistently meet your goals. She has built a business based on satisfied clients and their referrals, and plans on continuing that tradition for many years to come. Katie also has achieved the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) and GREEN designations from the National Association of Realtors. She was also awarded the 100% Club designation from Re/Max.

Katie married Matt Hoster in Telluride in September 2008. They live in Washington Park with their three dogs Charlie, Bailey and Griffin. Katie also volunteers for the Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue and is currently taking guitar classes.
