Joan Hitt is all about client care. She listens intently to the needs and desires of each individual client in order to provide the service and expertise necessary for a successful, rewarding real estate transaction.

Joan earned her bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin and taught school for two years prior to working for an appraiser, property management firm, and a condo conversion and new residential construction company. This diverse background has served her well in the highly competitive real estate business where service and knowledge are paramount to success.

Joan holds the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation recognizing the successful completion of stringent continuing education courses in real estate. The CDPE course provides Realtors with the knowledge and expertise to successfully deal with short sale and foreclosure transactions. Those who hold the designation are also more likely to help homeowners save their homes from foreclosure.

Joan earned her real estate license in 1987 and is a member of the Denver Board of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She currently serves the diverse real estate needs of clients throughout the metro Denver area, with an emphasis on central and southeast Denver. Joan affiliated with RE/MAX of Cherry Creek due to the remarkable synergy the office provides and the unparalleled professionalism and integrity of its agents.

When not serving the needs of her real estate clients, Joan enjoys golf, gardening, and spectator sports, especially football. She is also a volunteer for the Denver Botanic Gardens, one of the citys most popular summer attractions.
